Frequently asked questions

Short, direct answers. Each topic links to a full guide if you want the detail.

Ordering and delivery

Which cities do you deliver to the same day?

Same-day delivery is available in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad for confirmed orders, subject to stock and the time the order is confirmed. We tell you the delivery time before you commit. For other cities, ask through the order form and we will tell you honestly whether and how we can deliver.

How do I place an order?

Use the order form: choose your city and the products you need, add quantities, then press Send. You get a copy of your details by email, and we reply with stock, price and delivery time. Nothing is dispatched until you agree.

Do you supply offices, schools and clinics in bulk?

Yes. Bulk buyers can ask for 5-litre refill packs, cartons of masks and gloves, and dispensers for each entrance or room. Tell us the number of people and rooms and we suggest quantities.

Can I see the price before I order?

Yes. We send the current price for the exact items and quantities you ask about. Prices of alcohol-based products change with raw material costs, so we quote rather than publish a fixed list that could go out of date.

Hand sanitizer

What alcohol percentage should a hand sanitizer have?

Choose a sanitizer with at least 60% ethanol or 70% isopropyl alcohol by volume, as US health agencies advise. The two WHO hand rub formulations contain 80% ethanol or 75% isopropyl alcohol. The percentage and the alcohol type must be printed on the label.

Is hand sanitizer better than soap and water?

No. Washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds is better when hands are visibly dirty or greasy, after using the toilet, and before handling food. Sanitizer is the practical choice when soap and water are not available.

How much sanitizer should I use?

Use enough to cover every surface of both hands, usually one full palm, about 2 to 3 ml. Rub until your hands are completely dry, which takes about 20 to 30 seconds. If hands dry in under 10 seconds, you used too little.

Is gel or liquid sanitizer better?

Both work if the alcohol content is right. Liquid spreads quickly and suits dispensers and sprays; gel is less likely to drip and is easier to carry. Choose by where it will be used, not by which "kills more germs".

Is hand sanitizer flammable?

Yes. Alcohol-based sanitizer is flammable until it has dried on the hands. Keep it away from flames, stoves and cigarettes, store bulk stock below 30°C out of direct sun, and never leave bottles in a parked car in summer.

Can children use hand sanitizer?

Yes, with adult supervision. Swallowing even a small amount of alcohol-based sanitizer can poison a young child, so keep bottles out of reach and help children under six apply it. If a child swallows sanitizer, get medical help immediately.

Quality and standards

Is there a Pakistani standard for hand sanitizer?

Yes. PS 5453/2020, published by the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA), covers alcohol-based hand sanitizers and disinfectants. PSQCA says it was developed in line with WHO guidelines.

What must a sanitizer label show in Pakistan?

PSQCA has said that under PS 5453 each bottle must legibly show the contents with percentages, the manufacturing and expiry dates, the batch number and the manufacturer's name.

How can I spot a poor-quality sanitizer?

Warning signs include no alcohol percentage on the label, no batch number or expiry date, no manufacturer name, a sharp unusual smell, and a price far below the cost of the alcohol it claims to contain. Never buy sanitizer that lists methanol.

Can I ask for test documents before buying in bulk?

Yes. Ask us for the specification and the test documents available for the batch you will receive before you place a bulk order.

Masks and gloves

What is the difference between a surgical mask and a KN95 or N95?

A 3-ply surgical mask is a loose-fitting barrier against droplets and splashes. A respirator such as an N95 or KN95 seals to the face and filters fine particles. Respirators protect the wearer better, but only when they fit and seal properly.

Latex, nitrile or vinyl gloves: which should I buy?

Latex gloves fit closely and are comfortable but can cause allergic reactions. Nitrile gloves are latex-free and more resistant to many chemicals. Vinyl gloves are cheaper and suit short, low-risk tasks such as food handling.

Can disposable masks and gloves be reused?

No. Disposable masks and gloves are made for single use. Replace a mask when it is damp, dirty or damaged, and change gloves between tasks and whenever they tear.
